Piazzale Michelangelo

Piazzale Michelangelo is "The view of Florence". Designed in 1869 by the Florentine architect Giuseppe Poggi, Piazzale Michelangelo offers a beautiful panoramic view of Florence and the Arno, and is definitely a must-see for tourists and Florentines. Poggi created the square as a monument for the celebration of Michelangelo and his works, which were to be exhibited here, both the Daivid and the sculptures of the Medici in San Lorenzo. When the terrace was finished, Poggi also built the Loggia, now a famous restaurant.

Impruneta

Impruneta is a Tuscan village of almost 14,500 inhabitants that extends over the hills between the Ema stream and the Greve river. It is famous for its terracotta industry and its traditions: the Fair of St. Luke, which takes place every year in mid-October, and the Grape Festival, which takes place on the last Sunday of September.

Fattoria di Luiano

Stop at a wonderful farm, visit the cellars and lunch with wine tasting.

Villa del Poggio Imperiale

The Villa Medicea del Poggio Imperiale is located on the hill of Arcetri, on the Viale dei Colli system in Florence. Suggestive entrance to the city centre.
