Location and Parking 

Florence airport is located 5 miles from the city center, in the northwest direction. If you want to fly to other parts of Tuscany, then the airport caters to that as well. Travel to Sienna (50 miles away) or Cinque Terere 110 miles away. The Florence Italy Airport is also situated 10 kilometers northwest of Florence’s Historic Core. The airport has facilities for both long-term and short-term parking lots that are just a few steps away from the terminal. In the short-term parking lot, the rates vary from complimentary 10 minutes and then 30 minutes. The long-term parking is available for 4 hours to 24 hours. 

Transportation Modes 

It is advisable to travel to Airport Florence according to your own feasibility, whether it be by car, by tram, by bus, by taxi, or by your own private means. If you are traveling by car then it will take about 20 minutes from the city center to the airport. Cars can also be rented out at the Florence airport desks, just outside the airport terminal.
